September 28th -

LUPIN (Our 'Official Station Mascot') is 4 years old today and is seen here sitting on the grass outside the Guardroom at RAF Holmpton.

Here she tucks into a bowl of Ham & Game as a Birthday Breakfast Treat.

2010

September 21st - UPDATE Lupin now fully recovered from her OP and just her usual 'crazy' self again - Guarding the Gates and barking at visitors.

August 2nd - Loopy making a full receovery from major surgery on Friday 30th July - She won't be having pups - but a much more comfortable life for her. Many thanks to Cygnet Vets (Patrington) for a really superb level of care and attention. Loopy was on the table at 12noon - coming round by 12.45pm and walking out of the surgery at 4pm ! She is now well on the road to recovery and getting her energy back slowly, enjoying short walks and car rides.

2009

September 28th 2009- Hi - It's my Birthday TODAY and I am now TWO YEARS OLD - WOOF !! Now fully matured and into some specialist training 'Loopy' continues to do well. On a recent chase alongside our Jeep, Lupin achieved 25mph - Not bad for a DOG !

May 4th 2009 - 'Lupin' our official mascot continues to do well and has now matured into a fully grown adult with her own individual 'crazy' character - She has now undergone successful obedience training and walks very well both on and off the lead, responding well to commands. Her favourite toy is a BALL and she has boundless energy (tires us all out) - Loopy's favourite place is the beach and Spa cliff walks at Scarborough, where she is a firm favourite with her many friends. She loves travelling in cars and her latest thing is coming along for a bike rides on the old railway tracks where she averages about 10 miles a time, still asking to chase her ball when she gets home !

She spent her first 6 months in 'Fife' Scotland
She arrived at RAF Holmpton on 20th April 2008
She firstly lived in the RAF Police Office
Her new Dog Pound was completed on 10th May 2008
Lupin follows in the footsteps of 'Moto' her 'Border Collie' predecessor
